Give to Ukraine
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
Hebrews 13:16
Dear friends,
We are raising funds to support our sister Kseniia Kolomiitseva from Ukraine.
She is currently staying in Warsaw, Poland, where she is waiting for the US embassy to grant her a temporary visa to come to the United States.
Kseniia, or “Susha”, as we call her, is James’ Bible school classmate from back in 2015. She lived in the capital city of Kyiv, where Russian missile strikes and gunfire could be heard outside her building each day. Tanks could even be seen driving down the street just outside her apartment window. She spent sleepless night after night as air raid sirens blared, waiting and wondering whether the next missile would be the one that came down on her home.
Along with millions of other women and children, Susha eventually made the decision to flee Ukraine, leaving behind her home, all her belongings, and even her cat, Belka. She packed one small suitcase and waited hours to board a train out of the country, crammed with 14 other Ukrainian residents in a train carriage originally meant for only 4 people. Her brother, his wife, and their 8-month old baby are still at the warfront in Ukraine as military age men are required to stay and fight for their country.
Susha is one of literally millions of stories like this - innocent civilians whose lives have been turned upside down because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
100% of the funds donated will be sent to Susha to help her find shelter, food, and other necessities while waiting for her embassy appointment in April. We have asked her to use what she needs and to allocate the rest for family, friends, and other citizens of Ukraine who can use the money.
We thank God for the opportunity to stay connected with Susha and that we are able to partner with her in a time like this. We see the example that Jesus set for us to “love our neighbors” and we ask that you come alongside us as we do our part to share with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine in their time of need.
Give.
Your generosity can change lives. Donations can be made via Zelle or Venmo.
100% of donations will be compiled and transferred together at the end of fundraising period, regardless of amount. (Funds are being sent via Western Union, which charges a 2.5% fee on all transfers.)

“And the crowds asked him, “What then shall we do?” And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
